Gini Crawford, (MSW) Conservative Community Organizer Gini graduated from Arizona State University in 2004 with a Masters in Social Work. She now had a degree that fit her life’s journey – helping people reach their potential. If you know anything about social work you would know it is the degree that exemplifies community organizing, such as encouraging social reform, dealing with social injustice, and educating and helping people achieve their God given potential. Throughout her life she has been involved in many different types of organizing. As a teenager she was involved in the normal 70’s social reforms - like getting a girls tennis team started in my college, because only the guy’s had one. She has been married since 1975 and has 3 adult children with families, so you can imagine she has been a family organizer. She has also helped organize activities around her children’s lives, such as being involved in school board meetings, organizing school events, sport’s fundraisers, a community swim team for kids, the PTA and so on. She has also run many groups (in the community and in a church) that educate people (especially women) on the Bible. She has a website where she post’s this educational material that highlights Christian principles (www.becauseofGod.com). She is now involved in a ministry that strengthens and educates women who struggle with poverty - on how they can reach their God given potential. She has also been a part of the pro-life movement for decades, which has led her to be involved with organizations that support social reform in this area. She has also done what most people nowadays suppose a community organizer does – bring change through political means. At this moment she is a campaign manager.
